The 2022 NSW Quality in Diabetes Care meeting will take place on Saturday the 4th June (VIRTUAL) so please be sure to submit an abstract. The best abstracts will be selected to present on the 4th June. Abstract submission deadline is COB Monday 9th May 2022.
For those of you who have never attended this meeting before, it has been running in Victoria since 2016 and is open to all Endocrine Fellows and Trainees (Adults and Paediatrics).
The aim is to have you think critically about the evidence behind all the things you do day to day in relation to diabetes care. We want you to choose common problems or questions you come up with in clinic, provide a case presentation and then an evidence-based review of the topic.
The aim of these meetings is for the discussion of COMMON, and EVERYDAY clinical issues. Look at what you do every day in clinic and on the ward and think critically about the evidence behind it.
The state winner will then go onto present at the national QIDC meeting to be held at the Australian Diabetes Congress (8th - 10th August 2022).
